Reading the Chronicles of Narnia; all seven Books, was quite an Adventure for me. One I had yet to encounter after reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Of course, great C.S. Lewis was kind enough to include so much valuable Words of Wisdom in all books.
For instance, in the Book 2 of the Chronicles: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Mr. Beaver told us something.

The Pevensies dining with Mr and Mrs Beaver

“There may be two views about Humans. But there’s no two views about things that look like Humans and aren’t.”

Here, he was advising Peter and his siblings on the possible turncoats that might be working with the White Witch, Queen Jadis.

Mr and Mrs Beaver

“But in general, take my advice, when you meet anything that’s going to be human and isn’t yet, or used to be human once and isn’t now, or ought to be human and isn’t, you keep your eyes on it and feel for your hatchet.”

Oh.. how I do love these Books.
Hopefully, there are lots of other lessons from Narnia I would post in the future. And the presence of these coloured pictures would make them worthwhile to remember. ☺
